About

History

My story begins in the early oughts when I was introduced to Bourbons and Scotches, Benchmade, Spyderco, and Gerber while in the US Army. After re-entering the civilian arena, I fell into a rut of cheap party drinks and cheaper flea market knives. A few years ago I started seeking out the drinks I was introduced to in the Army, mostly Jim Beam and Wild Turkey. As I started to learn more about the history of the brands and all of the different variations they produced, I fell down the bourbon rabbit hole hard and started seeking out allocated bourbons. Recently I began to dive into the world of Every Day Carry, as I revisit some of the knife brands I knew. Come with me as I discover and rediscover the words of whiskey and EDC.
